Position Summary:

The content marketing lead demonstrates a deep understanding of software-as-a-service (SaaS) B2B markets and financial services buyers in order to evolve, execute and lead the AQMetrics SaaS content and editorial strategy. The content marketing lead must have an expert understanding of the buying audiences and needs and often acts as a subject matter expert (SME) who transfers knowledge about financial markets, buyers and regulatory products across marketing and sales functions. 

Main Responsibilities

Website, Content Writing and Content Management:

You will work closely with our marketing executive to create edit and publish web content for www.aqmetrics.com which will, in turn, provide an impressive online experience and ultimately improve conversions. This will include continuously creating new content and material for the website. This includes website copy, blog posts, product datasheets, marketing copy and whitepapers. 

Creating product content to achieve specific KPIs:

You will need to be comfortable writing compelling, unique and well-researched content at a fast pace, targeted at lead generation. 

Off-Site Content, Digital PR:

This will involve creating story ideas and press releases, earning backlinks and driving quality referral traffic. You will constantly be developing and maintaining relationships with relevant online journalists. 

Editorial Calendar:

Support the working calendar of written content for all relevant industry campaigns and events that will provide basis for product, PR and digital marketing content and campaigns.  

Other Activities Include: 

  • Email marketing including copywriting.
  • Working with your department head on RFPs for new clients.
  • Working closely with the sales team to define the messages for go to market. 
  • This role will report to the COO and will involve some interaction with clients and all other relevant stakeholders.


It is essential the candidate demonstrates the following skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications.
    5-7 years experience in product or content marketing, preferably in a SaaS FinTech/RegTech company.
  • Previous experience in financial markets regulation preferable, including MiFID II, AIFMD, UCITS, Dodd Frank, 1940 Investment Companies Act.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A creative thinker with a strong commercial understanding 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. 
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to multitask effectively 

Desirable skills: 

  • A strong understanding of the funds industry
  • Email marketing experience
  • PR experience
  • Market research experience
  • A qualification in journalism or PR 
  • Video blog, video interview experience
  • A second European language would be very beneficial
