We are expanding our business at a rapid pace and are now looking to scale our leadership team. We’re looking for sharp, energetic and detail-oriented people who are passionate about implementing solutions that transform the status quo.

This is a key leadership role with ownership of all product management activities.  Our high-performing software engineering and QA team is to be scaled, managed and developed in tandem with extension of our product funnel. You will be the leader responsible for the product development funnel ensuring that timelines and deliverables are met across functions to ensure successful quality product development and scaling of our SaaS platform.

What you will do:

In this role you will report to the CEO and work closely with the leadership team to plan, coordinate and direct research, marketing, product design, development milestones, and QA deliverables to ensure cross functional success of all our production activities.

You will manage the technology commercialisation of the product funnel to success and work closely with the leadership team to define the company’s product strategy and success metrics. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing SaaS company and help shape the product strategy going forward. You will:

  • Create and document the product strategy
  • Envision, build and analyse new features and tools, each contributing company growth and revenue
  • Manage product marketing and product development plans, timelines, budgets, milestones, risks, issues and assumptions
  • Collaborate with all functions in the company, whether in customer success, engineering, product, design, research, marketing, sales, etc.
  • Manage the product governance framework, decide what gets built (the features) and what order they get delivered in
  • Coordinate evaluation of scope change, estimates, priority and trade-offs 
  • Ensure active, bi-directional, consistent communication within and across teams as well as key stakeholders
  • Communicate risk, issues, assumptions, milestones and deliverables to all stakeholders
  • Ensure regular cross functional team status reporting is complete with actionable steps planned/taken to address issues/risks
  • Ensure adherence to process, use of tools, established product delivery standards
  • Identify and implement process improvements, onboarding, reporting improvements and training as required across functional areas
  • This role reports directly to the CEO so previous experience at senior level is required

What you will have:

  • 8+ years experience in product management related roles
  • Programme or project management qualifications
  • Ability to adapt, where necessary to the organization’s maturity level.   
  • Experience with complete product development life cycle from concept to final release
  • Strong organizational skills working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong writing and verbal communications skills are essential
  • Strong focus on product quality
  • BSc in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent
  • Masters level qualification in technology commercialization and management is advantageous
