Why we need you:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious QA automation engineer. You will be working with a team that builds automation and services that make QA continuous, simple and easy. As a key member of our core engineering and testing team, you will make heavy use of automation technologies to produce reliable, scalable test processes that enable the engineering team to build out product modules that deliver feature after feature with confidence.

What you will do:

  • You’ll understand and validate requirements, use cases and customer journeys on definition and testability, prepare test data to support test cases.
  • You’ll design, develop and execute test cases based on requirements.
  • You’ll be driven by testing best practices; contribute and define new processes and procedural improvements.
  • You’ll automate functional and performance tests.
  • You’ll execute both manual and automated test cases, prepare results and test report analysis.
  • You’ll perform defect tracking and prioritisation.
  • You’ll troubleshoot and isolate problems encountered during testing; triage and root cause analysis.
  • You’ll maintain and enhance the test case suite, performing maintenance as needed.
  • You’ll support and debug existing services within the company.

What you have:

  • 4+ years’ experience in software quality assurance industry with at least 2.5 years of hands on experience in automation testing
  • Proficient scripting and automation capabilities. (e.g.Java Script, Bash, etc.). 
  • Experience working with different Automation test management tools such as Protractor, Selenium, Jasmine, TestNG, Postman and JIRA.
  • Experience with version control systems such as SVN or Git and continuous integration tools.
  • Fundamental understanding of software test life cycles, bug life cycle and quality control methodologies.
  • Experience across some or all of the following testing types: black box, white box, performance, security, integration.
  • Master web applications and web services test structured experience with database integration. End to end data driven analysis.
  • Strong interest and passion in software testing and have worked in a structured test environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deal with complexity in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, a positive attitude.
  • Relevant 3rd level Computer Science qualification.

What our Interview Process is like:

Step 2- If your background is a match for the role, you may be required to complete a technical assessment (role depended) and/or phone interview with 1-2 people
