Nora Grendon, AQMetrics Head of Human Resources, recently took time out to describe her role – and why finding talent even during a global crisis is at the fore of AQMetrics human strategy agenda.
AQMetrics’ talented workforce
AQMetrics is focused on developing its people strategy and aims to continue to attract, retain and develop talent successfully. As part of my role, therefore, I’m responsible for developing a talent management and resourcing strategy.
No company would be what it is without its people. And at AQMetrics, we believe our people are the most important part of the company and our continued success. That’s especially true because AQMetrics is a leader in providing risk and regulatory reporting software to asset and investment managers – and it’s a fast-growing start-up with truly global ambitions.
So, what does the AQMetrics team look like? Our talent is multilingual, diverse and located around the globe. We also come from a range of specialised backgrounds, be it software, law, fund administration, the media, and finance.
And we’re currently hiring as we continue our European and US expansion. In recent weeks, I’ve spent much of my time speaking to candidates for customer success, sales and marketing roles. As we value diversity, however, I also look outside the industry we serve for transferable skills and candidates that may offer something different or special.
Right now, we are looking for talent in engineering and QA, and we’re particularly interested in hearing from people with full stack and QA automation experience.
